What exo[intel] is
exo[intel] is a live map of the world with a set of open-source-intelligence tools attached to it, running entirely in a browser tab.
The map draws what is moving right now — aircraft, ships, satellites, wildfires, earthquakes, storms, conflict lines, civil-defence alerts, news — as layers you switch on and off. Everything on it comes from feeds that are published openly, and it refreshes on its own while you watch.
The tools answer questions about one specific thing. Who registered this domain. Where does this address sit and who routes it. What certificates exist for this name. Is this company on a sanctions list. What does this network block already publish about itself.
The two halves are one workspace: a lookup with a location in it drops a marker on the map, and a marker on the map can be turned into a lookup.
There is nothing to install, nothing to configure, and no third-party API keys to supply. Open exointel.watch and the map is already running.
#What it is not
Said plainly at the top, because guessing at it wastes your time:
- It is not a people-search product. Nothing here takes a person's name and returns who they are, where they live or how to reach them.
- It is not a crypto-tracing product. There is no wallet, balance or transaction lookup. The markets ticker quotes crypto prices; that is a price feed.
- It does not scan or touch other people's systems. Every tool reads data that is already published. Nothing sends traffic at a subject on your behalf.
- It is not a native app. It is a responsive web app; it works in a mobile browser, and there is nothing in an app store.

You do not need one to use the map. Signing in adds the lookup tools, your own history, and everything built on top of it.
